Case Breakers potentially solve Zodiac Killer mystery
The Case Breakers, a group of former police, investigators, journalists, and military officers, have been able to find forensic evidence in Gary Francis Poste’s darkroom and some of his coded notes that have been said to be proof of him being the killer. The Zodiac Killer was a notorious serial killer who terrorized Northern California in the late 1960s. He gained notoriety by writing letters to the police and media about his killings. His identity has remained a mystery, however Poste was said to be one of the suspects. Poste’s former daughter-in-law and one of his relatives accused Poste of being the Zodiac Killer, but the police could not find any relation between the Zodiac Killer and Poste. The group has uncovered a resemblance of Poste and a 1969 police sketch of the Zodiac Killer because of the scars on his forehead. Despite all the evidence, the Case Breakers findings have been dismissed by the police and FBI, and the case still remains unsolved in the books.

Tallest woman in the world resides in Turkey
Rumeysa Gelgi, a 24-year-old Turkish woman, has been confirmed to be the tallest living woman by Guinness World Records. Gelgi was also named the tallest living female teenager in 2014, and was re-measured this year and given the title of the world’s tallest living woman. Gelgi is 7’ 7” tall, and her phenomenal height is caused by a condition called Weaver syndrome. The world’s tallest living man, Sultan Kösen, is also from Turkey. According to Guinness World Records, it is a rare occurrence for both the tallest female and male to be from the same country.

End of Mercury Retrograde
The Mercury Retrograde is finally over! Mercury, the planet that controls communication in astrology, went into a retrograde in September which continued until October. During a retrograde, a planet travels back into the sign it was previously transiting; in this case, Mercury traveled back to the astrological sign Libra. Astrologers believe that people can experience misfortunes during this period like falling out with friends and experiencing misunderstandings. Since the Mercury Retrograde is over, each astrological sign has something to look forward to, whether it’s feeling more relaxed and expressive in relationships for Virgos or being all set to reign again for Leos.

Police find remains of Brian Laundrie
Brian Laundrie, a person of interest in the Gabby Petito case, has been missing for over five weeks until his remains were found in the Carlton Reserve on Oct. 20. Police recently confirmed that the cause of Gabby Petito’s death was due to strangulation. Police began the search for Laundrie at the Carlton Reserve, where they found skeletal human remains next to belongings that are said to have been Laundries. The FBI and Chris and Roberta Laundrie confirmed the remains were Brian’s. The cause of his death has yet to be determined.

‘Halloween Kills’
Just in time for the Halloween season,“Halloween Kills” the sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 original movie “Halloween” has finally come out. The movie picks up on where “Halloween” had left off and is now available to watch in theaters. The reviews for the movie are mixed. Some fans believe the movie was enjoyable, while others fans are saying the movie fails to do anything new with the genre and has nothing else other than Micheal Myers killing people.
