Andrew C. Spada, born in Hartford on Nov. 29, 2004, to Claudio and Donna (Szumilak) Spada, passed away on Sunday, May 22, after a two-year battle with brain cancer. He was 17.
At RHHS, Spada was an honors student, Lacrosse and Basketball athlete, and a friend to many. His interests took hold in a variety of hobbies including fishing, jet skiing, working on classic cars, and spending time with his family. He was always the first to say hello and the first to be seen dancing and creating laughs. His positive personality was contagious.
After a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Incarnations on May 31, he was interred in Cedar Hill Cemetary in Hartford.
